I admit, I don’t like grocery shopping. I really really do NOT like grocery shopping. But, it’s a necessary evil. So, I’ve been making up menus. I am thankful that my mother taught me how to plan a menu for a family. So, today I am planning menus for the next two weeks. Thus far (12:51 pm) I have one week completed.
Typically I have used menu planning forms from this website, but today I thought I would be a little more creative and fun. So, I opened up PAGES (one of the three programs included in iWork) and looked at the available templates. Sure enough, the perfect one! A MENU! As in a REAL menu... like you would find in a restaurant.
At the left is our menu for the week of August 2, 2009. I will try to make it so that you can click on it to make it bigger. Not promising anything, but I will try!
This menu will be posted on our refrigerator. I am hoping that it will do 2 things for us. 1) not clutter up the fridge with lots of handwritten notes of menu ideas. 2) help us to eat at home more often and possibly avoid the nagging question of, “What’s for dinner?”

The file in the left hand column is clickable and will bring up a full page PDF that you can print. :) I’m so clever.
